Financial Support for flood affected farmers
Financial support for flood-affected farmers
A support package is available for flood-affected farmers:
Primary Producer Clean-Up Relief Grants: up to $75,000 to cover the cost of recovery and get you up and running again. (This replaces the $10,000 Primary Producer Flood Clean-Up, Relief Grants announced 19th October. Primary Producers who received the $10,000 can apply for the further $65,000 Primary Producer Recovery Grant.
Rural Landholder Grants: Up to $25,000 to cover the costs of disaster impacts for small-scale producers.
Primary Producer Concessional Loans: Up to $250,000 to restore or replace damaged equipment and infrastructure, or to cover the short-term business expenses.
Primary Producer Transport Subsidies: Up to $15,000 to support the transport of emergency fodder or stock drinking water, and the movement of livestock.

Victorian Small Business and NFP Flood Recovery Concessional Loans
Victorian Small Business and Not for Profit Organisations Concessional Loans
Small businesses and not-for-profit organisations who have been directly impacted by the Victorian Floods commencing October 2022 are eligible to apply for concessional loans of up to $250,000 to restore or replace damaged assets and meet general expenses incurred while the clean-up is underway.

Disaster Recovery Allowance (DRA)
Federal Government Disaster Recovery Allowance (DRA) is a short-term income payment for business owners (if receiving a wage from your business) and their staff whose income has been affected by the Victorian October 2022 Floods. The maximum duration of this payment is 13 weeks.
Australian Disaster Recovery Payment (AGDRP)
The Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment (AGDRP) is a lump sum payment
to help people seriously affected by the Victorian Floods in October 2022.
Victorian Emergency Relief Assistance Payment
Victorian Emergency Relief Assistance Payment – The personal hardship assistance program Emergency relief assistance payments are available after a natural disaster-related emergency, to assist individuals and communities that are experiencing, or are likely to experience, hardship in meeting their relief needs as a result of an emergency.
Emergency re-establishment assistance
Emergency re-establishment assistance – The Personal Hardship Assistance Program assists people
experiencing financial hardship in meeting their relief needs
The program includes emergency relief payments and re-establishment payments.
